Shelf-Ready Packaging (SRP)

Shelf-Ready Packaging (also called Retail Ready Packaging) is an outer case designed so store staff can place it directly on the shelf without repacking. Good SRP shortens shelf replenishment time, keeps facings tidy and makes the brand visible at the moment of restocking. Design is driven by retailer guidelines and logistics, not just graphics.

Applications & Use Cases

Supermarket and convenience chains, beverage multipacks, household goods, health and beauty restocking programs.

Materials & Finishes

SRP cases are corrugated board, commonly B, C or BC flute depending on stacking strength. Key elements: perforated or tear-off front panels for easy opening, integral tray or shelf-edge support, grip holes and clear front-of-store branding with product photos, quantity counts and barcodes. Stacking and pallet dimensions are verified in the specification.
