Custom Badges & Enamel Pins, Made to Your Artwork
PINVERO produces custom metal badges and enamel pins from your own artwork. Each piece is die-struck or die-cast in zinc alloy, iron or brass, filled with soft enamel, hard enamel or printed colour, then plated and finished. Typical buyers are sports clubs, teams, associations, schools and corporate identity programmes.

Colour techniques compared
Four ways to put colour on a metal badge. The right choice depends on your artwork, budget and how the badge will be worn.
Hard enamel
Colour is filled, then polished flush with the metal lines. The surface is smooth and flat, resists scratching and is the most durable finish. Higher cost, chosen for premium membership and corporate pins.
Soft enamel
Colour sits recessed between raised metal borders, so you can feel the metal lines. Slightly less expensive than hard enamel and well suited to bold, simple artwork.
Printed colour
Silkscreen or offset printing on a metal base. The only practical option for gradients, photographs and very fine detail that cannot be separated into enamel areas.
Plain relief, no colour
Bare metal with antique plating, so the relief reads through light and shadow. The classic look for crests, commemorative badges and formal insignia.
Who orders custom badges
Badges are ordered in relatively small quantities by organisations that need a recognisable identity item. These are the buyer types we supply most often.
Sports clubs & teams
Membership badges, season pins, fan merchandise and team store items, usually reordered each season.
Associations & societies
Anniversary badges, insignia and commemorative issues for members, chapters and regional branches.
Schools & universities
House badges, class pins, club insignia, and alumni or reunion items.
Corporate identity
Lapel pins for staff, service and recognition awards, and brand pins for events and launches.
Events & city souvenirs
Conference pins, limited-run commemoratives and tourist souvenir badges sold through local retail.

Badge questions, answered
Short, factual answers to the questions buyers ask before requesting a quote.
What is the difference between soft enamel and hard enamel badges?
Soft enamel leaves the colour recessed below raised metal borders, so the metal lines can be felt. Hard enamel is polished until the colour is flush with the metal, giving a smooth, flat and more durable surface. Hard enamel normally costs more. Your quote lists both options so you can compare.
What artwork file should I send?
Vector artwork is preferred — AI, EPS, SVG or PDF with outlined text — because it can be scaled to any badge size without losing quality. A high-resolution raster image or even a clear sketch or photo can also be used; in that case the artwork is redrawn before tooling. Colour references should be given as Pantone codes where brand accuracy matters.
Can you match our brand colours?
Yes. Enamel colours are matched to Pantone references. Very exact matches on gradients, metallics and neon tones are better produced by printing rather than enamel filling, and the recommended method is stated on the quote.
Which attachment should I choose?
Butterfly clutch is the standard for lapel wear and suits most pins. Rubber clutch grips more firmly on thicker fabric. Magnets avoid piercing the fabric entirely and are used on delicate or uniform garments. Safety pin suits heavier badges and temporary event wear.
Can I see a sample before bulk production?
Yes. A physical sample is produced for approval before the bulk run starts, so colour, plating, size and attachment can be checked on the actual piece rather than on a drawing.
What affects the price of a custom badge?
Size, base metal, colour technique, number of colours, plating, attachment type, special effects and order quantity. Tooling is a one-off cost per design. The quote itemises these so you can see what each choice changes.
Do you make badges for small clubs or one-off events?
Yes. Clubs, teams, schools and associations regularly order in small quantities: metal pins, badges, medals, challenge coins and keychains start from 5 pieces. Send the artwork and the quantity you need, and the quote reflects that quantity rather than a standard tier.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. Orders are produced in Guangdong, China and shipped worldwide. Shipping method and timing are confirmed on the quote based on destination and order size.
